Blog 7: Opinions

Hello everyone! Here you have some of my opinions. 

Adoption?

I’m totally in favor of adoption I think that is a love action to other person, give a new chance and can give her or him a better life is a beautiful action. I would like that the process of adoption could be easier than now for single people is very difficult the adoption process.

Having pets at home?

I think now that pets are important part of family, year ago people had pets to care the home, but we can see that some people take care of pets like they were babies, anyway I agree having pets at home but humanizer them may be no.

Chilean education?

I think that Chilean education has many shortcomings an example is that like one year ago they eliminated philosophy and physics as an obligation assignment, I thought that this one was a bad decision, the opinion that Chilean student has is very poor in compare to students of other countries, philosophy is an assignment that makes you think and explore your capacities of opinion. I think that the approve system is bad it’s just memory in two weeks the student won’t know anything of the test content. I think the students need being motivate of the assignment because they like it, no because they need have good marks in a memorize basis.

Recycling?

In our time recycling is a necessary action, the world is just collapsed of garbage, but I think we can help the world being less consumerist, now the things are so disposable, how many people change their technology stuff  year by year?, and when they use it, it gets discarded and is just garbage. We must recycling and complement it without being so consumerist.  

Blog 2: Best Concert

The concert that I most liked was a Franz Ferdinand concert, this one was on September 28, 2014, at Movistar Arena.
Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish band they played indie rock style they played since 2002, songs like take me out and dark of the matinee are the most popular of their career.
I remember being on vacations and see the festival de viña del mar when a rock band played at the stage (on 2006) since that they I listen to them, I enjoyed a lot their concert because in other moments they came to Chile but in festivals like Lollapalooza very expensive to just see one band, so I was really happy when they announced their concert and I bought the ticket quickly.
The atmosphere was awesome Franz Ferdinand is not the most popular band in their genres so the people that went to the concert were really a fan and I can connect with some people really fast, the music was amazing, the sound, the show, in general, was so fun, the connection that Alex Kapranos made with public was perfect to call it like the best concert that I assisted .

Blog 1: A country I'd like to visit

I'm a fan of learning about other cultures and traditions! so I would like to visit a lot of countries but if I might choose one maybe Japan, the only thing that stops me is the hours that I need to travel to this country. But anyway I take this option because one of my favorites groups of music is from here (the GazettE), also I like anime and videogames, and I follow on youtube a channel called Japanistic, this person shows a lot of tradition of this country that makes me wanna go so bad!.
If I go I need to take the maglev train, go to festivals using a kimono, and go to the Japanese garden.
I only want to travel to this country in a touristic way, learning the idiom is kinda complicated I have a friend that lives in Japan but she had studied the idiom for 7 years!, if I go she will be my touristic guide (and my translator haha).

Blog 4: Food

One of my favorite passions in the life is food; I enjoy tasting new flavors that can transport me to other cultures or just eat something different to “the traditional food” (like rise, cazuela, , etc.)

If I could travel to other countries maybe one of the reasons that I could choose one might be food, I really want to travel at United States of America to taste the American Breakfast and Street Food (I saw some videos in youtube, and the food looked really good!), or go to Japan to taste the real sushi, Italy for the “Pizza Tonda Romana” and others varieties that Italy can gives us. Although I want to taste the “flavor” of other food countries, Chile has good restaurants to visit; the variety is amazing, as we know this large country has varied weather, it makes that the typical food from the North part of Chile is far more different that the one in the South, nothing to envy of the other countries.

In Santiago I have my selection of good restaurant; I want to share with you some of them:

Insert Coin: A really good place if you want to eat Junk Food and good thematic drinks, this place mix food and videogames (to this place I call it paradise).

Sole Mio: Pasta!, I really love this place and It’s perfect because we see how they make the pasta dough, and the sauce.

Hanako Coffeshop: A Japanese cafeteria, in this place we can see more than just coffe and pastel, here we can bought a bento too!.

In the future I would like study gastronomy, but just like a hobby!

My experience writing the blogs was really fun! before making this blog I wrote a lot about of my life, things that I thought that I liked, similar to this activity (in Spanish) but everything was in an anonymous way, I don’t know what happened with the forum that I used to use, but that’s other story. Writing the blogs was very helpful to me, because writing in English is very difficult for me, I always repeat words, and my vocabulary is very poor, and also in my school I only learned verbs and some rules of English, I think that this is the reason that the communication and writing is not my strong in English but with blogs my grammar problems were less usual, and in general I think that the course is organized in a correct form, because we are few students and it makes the class more personalized.
Blogs that I most liked to write were “Videogames” and “Music” this both topics are part of my favourite hobbies maybe that is why these ones were easy to post for me and, about a blog that I would like to write is maybe about My favourite series or TV shows, pets or sports (the Olympic Games makes me have passion for sports).

Travels :)

Travels

A travel that I enjoyed a lot was in this year for being specific at January I went to La Serena, I never travelled to the north of our country, only to the south, so many years ago my mother tried to motivate me  because I don’t like so much stay away from my home. I went to La Serena by bus, it was really exhausting! And boring (just the bus part), when I arrived to La Serena I did many things and went to so divers places, my mom and I decided to take a tour, I can’t remember right now all the places but just to mention a few: “the Elqui valley, Islas Damas, Vicuña” and finally we went to “La Herradura”, sadly people told me that before the north earthquake La Herradura was more pretty than now, but I liked the beach anyway because the waves were so peaceful and quiet.

The only deception for me, was that I couldn’t went to the observatories and from the beginning it was one of my purposes in this travel to visit one, but maybe in the future I could have the possibility to visit the two great observatories in the north of our country. 

A Subject I've enjoyed studying this semester

My career is amazing, every day I feel that I have chosen the correct option, my classes in general are really productive and fun! Obviously some classes are boring for me but nobody can love every class. Trying to make a flashback I remember that my best moment in a class was at the lab! The subject is called “Chemistry lab techniques” is like an introduction about our labour at the lab and for me is really fun. This class mix the theory and practical ways to teach, so is perfect for me, it’s where I can see the best things of my career, and I have to say that my teachers are really helpful to me. In this class I don’t have only one teacher, I have 4! Obviously I have my preferences but all of them are amazing.  At the start I thought that this subject will be so relaxed but I noticed that is one of the most complicated to pass, I don’t have bad marks in general (only one but I can do the practical again, yes!) for me is like a challenge, the most unexpected things for me, make me have more motivation J.
